While I am no site admin, it would appear to me that it is not possible. I would imagine that if it were, you would be able to visit/view other profiles and or have some sort of inbox tied to yours. I do believe the "chat" in the lower right hand corner is supposed to provide a similar function assuming that the individual of interest is online.
