Depending on the type of membership one signs up for, these are the benefits available to members:

- No Distracting Ads: No third-party advertising on the Members site and reduced advertising on Ancient-Origins.net for members

- Live Chat: Join the chat room with live text and video, share ideas and be among friends.

- Live Webinars: Watch a free webinar every month by one of our guest author experts.

- Talk to an Expert: Join our guest author experts in the chat room to ask questions and discuss topics of interest.

We have three types of membership – bronze, silver and gold. Each package provides different levels of benefits. You can view the details of the packages here.

- Click on ‘Register’ in the top menu

- Choose ‘Create New Account’, complete your details and enter the Catcha code. Your account will be instantly created and you will automatically be logged in.

- Click on ‘Account’ in the top menu

- Select ‘Subscription’

- Choose your subscription plan and click ‘Sign up’ in the appropriate box

- Enter your payment information (PayPal will soon be added as an available payment method)

- Click ‘Return to Ancient Origins’. You now have access to all the member material.

Click on ‘Login’ in the top menu. Enter your username and password. 

If you have forgotten your password, select 'Request new password'.

If you continue to experience difficulties logging in, please contact us.

Login, go to ‘Account’ and then ‘Edit’. On this page you can update your profile, add or remove an image, change your password and adjust your settings.

If you wish to change your billing information, go to ‘Account’, then ‘Subscription’ and select ‘Update Billing Information’.  

Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your membership will be renewed automatically. You can check your renewal date by going to your Account and selecting ‘Subscription’, then ‘Cancel’.

Go to your ‘Account’, select ‘Subscription’ and then ‘Cancel’. This will prevent your subscription from renewing. However, you will continue to have access to the member material until the last day of the term you paid for. 

Membership is non-refundable due to the immediate availability of free downloads, discount codes and other benefits for members. 

Login, go to ‘Account’ then ‘Subscription’ and select ‘Invoices’. Click on the orange invoice number on the left to view your payment receipt.

Login, go to ‘Account’ then ‘Subscription’ and select ‘Change Plan’.  Select a new subscription plan. 

If you are upgrading, the change will be instant and you will be able to access member benefits for the new plan immediately.

If you are downgrading, the change will take place at the end of your current subscription period. 

Login with your usual username and password and go to ‘Account’ and then ‘Subscription’.  Choose a subscription plan and click ‘Sign up’ in the appropriate box. 

No, membership is non-transferable. 

If there’s something we’ve missed or forgotten, please contact us. We are always happy to help. 

We are currently working on automating this process by linking user accounts between the Ancient-Origins.net main site and the Member Page. However, until then, we need to apply this benefit manually.

In order to receive the benefit, please email members@ancient-origins.net with your registered username or email on Ancient-Origins.net and ask to see reduced ads.  After we’ve updated the settings, you will see fewer ads on Ancient-Origins.net as long as you are logged in. 

Just go to the login page from the top menu options and select 'Request new password'. Enter your username or email address and you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
