<p><em>Chris Boonzaaier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.&nbsp; In 1997 he was appointed as programme manager of a newly introduced degree course specialising in Heritage and Cultural Tourism.
