I wear many hats. As a child growing up in a metaphysical family, my lifelong passion is walking the land, my cultural training and gift via my father who was Eastern Cherokee. I have a book coming out in Fall 2019, Walking the Land (Blue Turtle Publishing, Cottonwood, AZ), as well as my website going live www.walkingtheland.net, at the same time, based upon this training from age 9, onward. I work with telluric (earth) energies, spirit guardians and local/regional Devas define them, and teach others how to do so they can find out what influential energies are in their own back yard, what the energy is, and how it effects them daily. I've traveled the world, going to sacred sites for 30 years (Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain (England/Scotland), North America, South America (Brazil/Peru), Hawaii, and other sites, amassing my experiences and distilling the information I've discovered into my blog, articles and book(s). Another 'hat' is as a New York Times best selling author. I write under my pseudonym, Lindsay McKenna www.lindsaymckenna.com. I'm a homeopath and have written a number of books on this wonderful alternative medicine. Among them, Homeopathy for Epidemics. My mother had a Druid/Britain (Ireland/England) background and I grew up learning astrology, reading books (The Bhagavad Gita, Egyptian Book of the Dead, Tibetan Book of the Dead, Rosecrucian books, mythology, astronomy, among many other deep, heavy tomes starting at nine years old). I was struck by lightning at age 9 and my father took that as a sign, and chose me of the 4 children, to learn the healing ways of his culture and carry it on from his generation to mine. Today, it would be known as shamism. He taught me for 9 years. It was called a 'medicine' (a skill that was passed down his family lineage) which was to help heal those who were sick and suffering). I eventually wrote a book, Soul Recovery and Extraction and later, Path of the Mystic, under the name he gave me, Ai Gvhdi Waya (Walks with Wolves). I became a medical astrologer in the 1970's and until my retirement in 2015. I wrote the book, Medical Astrology by Eileen Nauman, in the 1980's and it continues to be sold around the world to those interested in this subject to this day. Ancient history is my passion, the mysticism and magic surrounding these sacred areas, a calling. At 73, I wish to leave my experiences to others who love Mother Earth and all her relations (Nature and the magic contained within it), and utilize what I have found to open up the unseen worlds/intersections of other dimensions that we can't percieve with our human eyes, to those who are interested. We live only 50% of our life with our 3rd dimensional human eyes. The other 50% is unseen, but our Brow Chakra or "third eyes" perceives this incredible world that surrounds us. I would rather live a whole life, seeing what I can with my human two eyes, but also perceiving the unseen and being taught by it, growing and becoming (I hope) a better, heart-centered person. My focus now, is giving others the tools I found to work, so that they too, can live a whole, magical, and mystical life.
